Respect the National Anthem
Posted 9 years ago
Some ads just hit you. Sometimes with the words, sometimes with the visual.
Here is a public service commercial that does the same, both with words and visual.
A scene from a daily life in a very busy street is the backdrop. An aged cobbler, surrounded with youthful, restless kids, switches on the radio and finds the National Anthem being played. Even though he is physically challenged, his respect for his country and his respect for the National Anthem make him stand up. The kids, inspired by his action in spite of his disability, stop with their banter and stand up in respect as everyone just continues with their life ignorantly.
The National Anthem ends and you hear the words: “How can you respect the nation if you can’t even respect the National Anthem?”
It does hit you, we promise.
