Women take charge in the new India!

As times change, ads reflect the same change. From a sari clad woman to a woman in suits donning board meetings like she owns it, a woman in an Indian ad has come a long way. It's not that we don't see a woman just playing the role of a body and having nothing sensible to add to the ad any more, it's just the early trend setters have picked up the pace.
Take for example, the Airtel ad which shows a woman being the boss of her husband who makes him stay late in office for the organisation's betterment. That's a professional decision, a few years back you couldn't imagine seeing on television.
But, we also have examples of JK Lakshmi Super Cement Bikini ad, where the only thing the model brings to the ad is her body.
