Collective Effort, Better India

“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” Immortal words spoken by John F. Kennedy.
On seeing this, what stays with you the longest is the background score of Shankar Mahadevan singing, “Tum Chalo, To Desh Chale.” That is precisely what the ad is based on.
Traffic on a busy road is brought to a stand still because a tree fell down amid heavy rains. The various people in their respective positions, be it a politician, a store owner, an employee react to their helplessness in their own ways. But no wants to find a solution or do something about it.
A little boy starts shifting the heavy log. Even though he is unsuccessful in his effort, he inspires the rest of the onlookers to join the process.
The message is clear: Don’t just look, crib and comment. Do something about it.
